UPDATE: Vincent Palamara has published excerpts from interviews with several of the agents involved that have now gone on record to dispel the oft repeated falsehood that JFK was somehow responsible for the stand down orders. Also note that Mr. Palamara reports that the controversial publication of the motorcade route was traced to LBJ flunky, Bill Moyers.
