Terence McKenna predicted that the historical endpoint date is December 21st, 2012 using Novelty Theory. On 12/21/2012, a singularity of novelty will occur for which it is theorized that multiple events could occur including mass connection of consciousness, the discovery of time travel, or mass alien visitations.
